Skin Rejuvenation
YELLOW AFT handpiece are designed to absorb oxyhemoglobin and melanin to treat different age related and photo damaged skin irregularities, for skin rejuvenation.

Hair Removal
Is done by the RED AFT handpiece. Use of this handpiece creates permanent hair reduction. The hair removal process is based on absorption of the light energy by the melanin in the hair follicle with fluorescent energy. Prior to treatment, the hair area should be shaved, cleaned and dried.

Vascular & Pigmented Lesions
The GREEN AFT handpiece is used to treat vascular conditions, hemo angiomas, rosacea, angiomas and broken capillaries. Also for treatments of areas of the skin containing high concentrations of melanin, typical sun damage and aging.
8+ treatments with 3-4 weeks between treatments.

Acne
BLUE AFT handpiece is used for mild to moderate inflammatory acne vulgaris. High intensity light triggers a photochemical reaction which produces oxygen that attacks and destroys bacteria.
Treatments 2X a week for 5 weeks.
Persists 3-6 months after last treatment.

What is Advanced Fluorescent Light Hair Removal?
Advanced fluorescent technology is a new long term hair removal method. A client sits of lies in a comfortable position, and then a technical glides a wand-like tool, or handpiece, over his or her skin. The handpiece emits a beam of specially filtered light, which is absorbed by the hair and converted to heat. This heat disintegrates the hair and disables the hair follicle.

Is the treatment safe?
Yes, it is very safe. Some people may experience mild reddening of the treatment area for a day or so after the treatment, but other complications are rare. The Advanced Fluorescent Technology delivers energy to the skin very gently. Plus, the Zimmer cooling system extracts heat from the skin during each pulse of light for maximum protection.

Does it hurt?
No. The light is selectively absorbed by the hair and hair follicles. The skin itself is exposed to very little heat. Plus, no irritating chemicals are used, and the hairs aren’t pulled on in any way. We add cooled gel and the Zimmer cooling system.

How long does the hair stay away?
Hair may never return at all. The exact amount of time that the hair stays away depends on the area being treated, the settings selected by the technician, and individual hair and skin factors. Depending on the settings used by the technician in accordance with the client request, hair removal may either be permanent or for a certain period of time. Repeat when it becomes visible again.

What body areas can be treated?
Almost any area of the body can be treated: the legs, back, upper lip, chin, underarms, back of the neck, bikini line, etc.

Do I have to let my hair grow out be a certain length before I can get treated?
No, it has to be shaved prior to treatments and no UV (sunlight) 3 weeks pre and post treatment.
